Ah, yes. I’m sure that makes a difference. Although sometimes a good “ptoo” might be called for as well.(For those who are wondering — as I was at first — the reason that Marigold was not mesmerized by her awesome reflection in the water is that the surface is disturbed by many ripples. Check out the nature of the reflections in the long shots in ;panels 1 and 5)Thank you Dana for this wonderful strip — the whole series. I love it!

What if Marigold will hit a unicorn with the rock she skipped across a pond? Oh wait…

Marigold should try tossing the rock with her horn, then try to break a record. Its not the skip, its the force and energy expelled inside your body thats therapeutic. Like punching an aluminum can or going for a jog. Im just glad Phoebe skips stones. Any thing safer would have never hit a unicorn and any thing more violent would have landed her in trouble.

Hey Random thought, What if Phoebe teaches Marigold how to skip stones and they hit an OTHER unicorn? What then? does it get sent to Dakota? Does it grant Marigold a wish? Does Phoebe get TWO unicorns?

When upset, hug your equine. It is much more effective.

Hippotherapy is now being used to treat PTSD (as seen in recent presidential parade).

Before his adventure, Bilbo wasn’t very good at dwarf tossing. He couldn’t get them out of his house. But he got better and stronger at it and was able to get them to skip several times over a pond. Force of hobbit.

Doesn’t Marigold usually sub her tail for “opposable thumb” things?

Reminds me of a time I tried to teach a girl how to skip stones.

An expert stone skipper, you are NOT, Marigold!
