Okay, I don’t get Burl’s comment. I hope it’s not something mean. Besides, I’ve a cat named Spartacus!

I think Julie is refering to a certain coffee chain without any legal repercussions. Just a guess.

    Well, I didn’t really get it either….

but I think he means they can buy a whole Greek movie on tape here for $5, when in their country they charge $15 just to see an American movie…

Never mind that Spartacus is 50+ years old…and an American movie…His twisted logic somehow proves that Greeks are ripping off Americans, or that American movies are worth more than Greek movies…

    or something…

“A” Spartacus does sound funny…. but if she meant “a Starbucks” I don’t think she’d be afraid to say it, or at least get a lot closer.

In fact I think somebody in the strip was drinking Starbucks the other day…and today they’re eating Taco Bell and Joy is labelled Gucci.

Anyway…. yeah… I’d save for years to take a trip to Greece and then drink Coke and go see a stupid American comedy.

The Pennys would eat at McDonald’s in Athens so they’d know what they were gettin’. You know you can’t trust them foreigners to give you a real piece of beef.

And they’d spend all day looking for a Greek discount store so they could see whether the prices on paper products were the same as at home. Seen one Acropolis, seen ’em all.

“Spray paint address on mailbox so nobody steals it??”

Cos it would be so gosh darn unattractive?

More itching to ask the doctor about …maybe that bra needs more than a rinse.

I don’t know about youse guys but I arrange my shoes by size; from the smallest to the largest. Makes perfect sense. Doesn’t everyone? Aren’t everyone’s feet different sizes on different days? And she’s going to buy baclava pop tarts, that’s almost Greek. Maybe she could buy some Greek yoghurt and go all in!

Baklava pop tarts? I’ll like to watch them put them in the toaster. They are crumbly and gooey. Do they even know what baklava is? I doubt it.

MMMMM…..Baklava..@SS: The to-do looks like Burl is going to spray paint “Moores” on the box so no one steals the “Penny” box? Maybe delivery people and their neighbors have put a bounty on their mailbox?

When I was stationed at Heidleberg 78-81 with the army. The McD was always packed and they served BEER.

During the 1989 heat wave the Mc D’s in Aylesbury, England was the only place around serving iced tea.

The great part is that they have to buy a second DVD player when they get home because their player has its zone set to Europe and won’t play American zoned DVDs

Try to clear your cookies/cache. If using internet explorer, just click on Tools at the top of the page, delete history, then you should get a screen with specific things to delete, check all but Form data and passwords, hit ok. Once that is done, reboot, see if that takes care of the problem.

I think it says address on the mail box.. makes sense that way they can tell the cops what to look for if stolen.
