    Wolf attack is not as common in Europe because of the concerted effort to kill them off over the years. The US put them on the endangered list, which still angers people in their habitat area because they feel sheep and cattle are at risk; OTOH without wolves some of the small prey animals like rabbits start overpopulating. You can’t change just one thing. :-)
