Hmmm…………Stations would have to go “off the air” for a few hours or so at a time, much like public television did in its early days (the 1960s and thereabouts).Maybe that’s not such a bad idea.
My gym is here in my multi-room and well hidden; even my workout bench is a former coffee table with a beautifully carved base like other good furniture and upolstered with HD 3" foam and a nice red brocade. The strider is one I can easily roll and store in the laundry next door, but lately I use it so often I do not store. No problem at all to stick to my target weight so I never have an extra 5# to lose. Sure, at 75 I can only do kicks to waist level (no high kicks like a real can-can) and my balance is not perfect either (I used to think that was from drinking ;-) This year I have no alcohol or soft drinks, only herbal teas and other flavors sweetened w stevia. And this year I am eliminating many whole types of food, but I will be more natural after next February assuming I resolve my HBP without meds.
On the subject of commercials, how come state lotteries are not held to truth-in-advertising standards? Almost everyone who has seen a lottery commercial recalls it something like this “A game where 1 out of 3 can win!” then showing big winners. In actuality, the 1:3 probability is often for the most common prize, namely a free lottery ticket, whereas the odds of winning the jackpot are astronomical.
Elly in panel #3 . . . this is how I feel right now after having worked in my yard all day today for the first time since last Fall. I can hardly wait to collapse in bed for the night a couple of hours from now!!!!! :-(

@Nabuquduriuzhur – when you get a few years older, you may see it differently. Between the media and the AARP, it would appear that the new 30 is 70.
The catch is that very few of us can afford to spend our lives in narcissm. For most of us, skydiving at 60 is not even an option, much less ‘fun’.
