Andy’s got to be in his eighties in real time but probably only in his fifties or late forties in comic strip time…Remember, he served as a sapper in WWII.
Andy’s a Pensioner. He has a pensiont for alcohol, that’s what. When He’s not served, He gets real pensionate about that. And how much swilling before passing-out; that’s a topic of suspension.
You all are just babies. At 81, I get 10% off my groceries if I shop on Tuesday, plus a free donut and coffee. The store is so crowded I don’t bother unless it during the old folks nap time and they have gone home.
I would have had mine this year (60) but the rules have changed and I have to wait another few years. I can go other places at a reduced price, though.
Probably like bloody ‘ell. It’s the tiller alright. Got the wheels off and cleaned and will put the phosphoric rust prep treatment on shortly. Ken gave me the last six books of the Foster reprints which I may start on tomorrow… or even later. Friday will still be decent, but snow is predicted for Saturday.
See you when you get back.
Oh right. Do you have a big collection of the Foster reprints? I’ve only got 5 paperbacks of Andy Capp. My Mum & Dad knows how HUGE a fan of Andy Capp I am and they look for them for me.
I don’t even mind my waist, soKeen excuse yer “Neighbor” thought of, tho [wink] I’ll give You Him [Her] credit next time i can i?I’m sure Reg would want to know where yer “Neighbor” [cough] came up with It. She [He] sounds wise.
Hugs all around. Got busy today. Yep right here on the couch, I let my fingers do the walkin’.
I saw Number Six and Chalkie J talking about anti-depressants earlier. I am on Zoloft. It’s the fifth med I have tried, and seems to be the best. They all make me feel a little drousy, some more, some less. But compared to the mood swings and the anger issues I’m “Much better now”. I used to feel put out by having these problems but then I realized they are more physical than not. Anyway, my twopenny’s worth. Hope you guys feel better.

I’ve always thought that Andy and Flo were the same age as Jack Benny: the eternal 39 years old………
