Hmmm. Sometimes numbers on clothing reference area codes (718 = New York City; 808 = Hawaii). 205 is central and western Alabama. Has anyone ever figured out where this cartoon is set? (“Heart of the City” takes place in Philadelphia.) Just curious, Or is there another pop culture reference to “205” I am not getting?

Yeah, that outfit doesn’t cut it. In fact, I don’t see any high school kids dressing like that anymore – it’s a bit old fashioned in these parts.

i had always thought that the strip was set in LA but other than there is never any snow I don’t have any other point of reference to prove it
