    I only recently started reading Annie. My only previous experience was with the syrupy musical.

    It seems a little… grisly compared to that.

    If he didn’t want them to touch him, the hospital would’ve been the last place he’d land. Perhaps he hoped to be strong enough to tell them to put on hazmat suits, or mumble, “Read Margueritem’s post,” and they could have suited up and showered him down. If this is some sort of poison, it would’ve lost it’s characteristics from chemically reacting with skin. But if it’s biological, folks, we all’s in a whole heap o’ trouble here.
