Victoria: Hey, girls... I guess the news of your Dad and me may have felt like you were a bird hitting a window... Danae: Well, sort of. Kate: ... but in a good way! Victoria: Well, I don't want you to worry about any sudden changes in rules around here after we're married. Danae: Rules? Victoria: OK... maybe a few changes... Kate: Those things you ignore. Danae: Oh.

This old bat is just going to ruin the strip, sometimes it is just best to leave well enuf alone, I actually do not like her at all…not a bleeep bit. Have her link up with the captain.

Victoria is actually cool. Lots of readers seem to have missed earlier strips over the years.

I think it’ll be fun to see Danae become frustrated, because she has met her match. Victoria isn’t a psh over like her dad.. She really deserves it. Danea, meet the real world….Oh, I’m looking forward to this…

Poor Victoria, Danae will make her rue the day she ever thought of that horrible test.. Are there any openings for nuns in Antarctica?

Don’t forget Wiley’s warning yesterday. The strip probably isn’t going anywhere near where we think it is going. Who knows where he may take it. He is a a devilishly creative sort.

Run as far and as fast as you can Victoria. You’re headed for a war with no possible end.

I’d look forward to the battle of wills, if that’s what Wiley has in mind.

Victoria is gonna cross a line with the kids, and she’ll be sent down range. Just by bsaying, “no sudden changes un the rules” there will be MANY sudden NEW rules.

Victoria, welcome to Joe’s world.
Now you know why (1) Brenda went to Las Vegas and (2) Joe is still unmarried.
I can’t wait to see what happens next. (Does Hallmark make a sympathy card for step-mothers?)

Victoria should have had more questions on her questionnaire…

Does anyone think it is relevant that Wiley’s (real life) wife is named Victoria?

To those die-hard nay-sayers who refuse to admit that Joe has agreed to the marriage, I refer you to last Tuesday’s strip where Joe revealed that he had told Danae about himself and Victoria “last week” (apparently while she was watching “Jersey Shores”). We didn’t see it, but the reference is unmistakable.
Wiley, love the facial expressions on all the characters today. Wonderful minimalist approach.

Man, I miss Victoria. Why do you have to abandon all the good plotlines, WIley?
