A Maritime battle can’t be on an Ocean? What’s that called then, and is It still timely? I hate to contradict ol’ Chalike, but i think that Battle took place on the Water.
viewWHY a Pogo in Andy Capp? Well, where else? Master Kelley is getting NO love from goatcomics. Let’s see Him in a space visited by aficionados of Genius Smythe, is the logic. Where it can be appreciated by discriminating Viewers. Just part of the full, glorious spectacle of Andy Capp Theatre.
Thank you for the compliment. A bit cold out now as I write this. It was shaping up to be a fine day earlier. A garage (gare-idge) would certainly keep me more busy at the kind of things where warmth would help a lot. Going out to drop recycling and pick up a thing or two. Good day !
(And now for the BEST of the BEST)
You’re welcome. It’s freezing here today. I think it might snow tonight.

BTW: My avatar is a self drawn caricature of Walt.
There was a ‘revival’ in the 70’s by a Relative [?] but it just didn’t work. The drawing was OK, but the colour and ‘vibe’ just wasn’t there. That was short-lived.
I’m not “Firecat” or a Fire sign or into Firesign or Theatre, even, or even a “Cat,” even; diff’ren Stevens. Here’s a Teaser of Miz Beaver; She suuuuuuure looks disappointed, eh? Madame is naturally her Rival but so is every other Female there; hitched ’er not. Or roughly. Well exactly.

Andy’s not to keen on the answer, but He’s put the Foot in, as-welljoke via a little help from Mo Howard?!?
Chalkeye almost 12 years ago
Thanks for the Help, Gweedo “Ma Rock” Murray. Going off CDRs and utube i don’t get all the notes. Frank had no ‘notation’ problem however.

Seems to me that Chalkie wasn’t always THIS dense; perhaps he’s going into early senility

I guess Andy has learned the secret to looking intelligent: hang around with someone stupid! XD

Wasn’t that the battle of Lepanto 1571?

Strolled thru Joe’s Garage last night. I’ve got about 2 7/8 spare “Parts;” need any? People who paid for that must feel ripped-off.

Another trivial episode! Remember the good ol’ days when an Andy episode wasn’t trivial! (Perhaps we should pursue this…….)

Loved the Pogo today. It seems like Walt Kelly was more Abbot and Costello than Abbot and Costello ever were!

Do both sides have to be all oar or ones side, or partial?
