I don't want to think about schools and careers! I want to think about video games. There are colleges that offer degrees in game design, computer animation, code and art. Sigh that guy can gut the fun out of anything.
Problem is – you’re a tester. The job requires you to have a pen and pad of paper, and take notes. Copious notes.Where can the game be fixed?Where are there rendering bugs?Where are there design flaws?etc etc.NOT as fun as you’d think.
Fortunately, my son, who loves games and computers is quite excited about the possibility of one day helping to create those games. And knowing his twisted imagination and sense of humour, I’d say we’re in for some fun.

Mr. and Mrs. Bucket might as well convert their basement into a bedroom now, Toby’s gonna be with them a LONG time!

There’s a couple of good webcomics about doing Quality Assurance and the other low, low end jobs in the videogaming industry.

….and don’t you actually have to know something about what the ‘bugs’ are and a little about software?
