Hell, when I was in middle school, we all walked over a mile to a bus stop and took a bus into the city and spent the whole day shopping and having pizza in a pizza parlor. She’s old enough to do that with Bernice, let’s say. At that age, you just need your parents’ money and maybe a ride. Dad is going to come back from this trip like a zombie.
