First day of my summer vacation: I stayed in bed till noon just because I could. Then I got up and had breakfast. Watched TV the rest of the day and night. Went to bed at 3:00 AM. (repeat as many times as necessary).
I hated these kinds of assignments. The times I went anywhere or did anything out of the ordinary were rare. When those happened I doubt I ever paid any attention to how I felt about my experiences. For a kid it was either happy, disappointed or carsick.
