I was actually thinking when I read the strip yesterday that they should ALL be under an umbrella! Even with sunscreen, they will burn if they are out all afternoon in the sun. As a Floridian of two years, I already am wearing a long sleeve shirt on the beach during the summer – the sun is intense. And of course, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses and sitting under an umbrella for much (not all) of the time. I am tan and have not burned by using this method. And I have skin that burns.

Yowchies. Don’t lay a finger on the kid! Put some aloe gel in the refrigerator. That always feels really good on a burn.

I’ve never heard of an Anglo-American that cannot eventually get sunburn. I have a hard time believing it’s possible.
