Another sign of how fast the times have changed. Classrooms don’t use chalk anymore. Instead, they now use whiteboards, which don’t work as well and where the supplies cost much more, and generate lots of hazardous waste.
I always wanted to help the teacher by clapping the chalk board eracers!
As a teacher I now have to worry about “eraseable” whiteboard markers that don’t wash out of pants and shirts.
