Ahh….the truth does hurt a little, doesn’t it, pal? Being on your own has its advantages (do the dishes when you feel like it, set your own schedule) but the evenings can get so lonely……………………………………………………………..

OMG! Is Phil going to adopt Sluggo?! Then if Phil marries Fritzi, Sluggo and Nancy would live in the same house (presumably)—ah, no. Cute when they’re eight, not so cute when they’re in their teens. I know they’ll never reach their teens, given how time fails to pass in Nancyville, but Phil and Fritzi should be thinking of the kids’ futures nevertheless.

Regardless, it’s lovely to see an adult showing Sluggo some attention and concern. I like Phil—the friendship between them is one of the nicest things about Phil having reappeared.

@WytZox1No telling what’s in those hot dogs. Probably some pork trimmings and other unidentified mystery meat.

Guy, this better have a happy ending. I have been sad all week with the story of Sluggo. I know it’s only pen and paper, but Nancy, Fritz and Sluggo has been with me for a long time now. Thank you for the story line about Sluggo. Always wanted to know about him.

Sluggo is only about 8 years old at the most! Legally he can not live alone without an adult until he turns 18! Someone has got to call hold services and get him into a foster home!!!!

But beans aren’t kosher for Passover.Bob, reminds me of a Groucho joke: “Dear Editor, I read your paper religiously. That is, I read it with my hat on.”

Beans, peas, peanuts, corn, all things that can be ground into something that looks like flour.

BTW, these are called kitnyot, and Sephardim, (Mediterranean or Oriental Jews) do not have this custom. Ethiopians, on the other hand, move out of the house altogether this week since it can never be cleaned well enough, since they do not have rabbinic rules how to do it.
