I wonder why it is apparently impossible to see a part of Al Capp’s work where Daisy Mae and L’il Abner are a couple with a little boy, Honest Abe Yokum. Does anyone have an answer for that? Thx.

GoComics only has the rights to a pathetic few of the Lil Abner strips. They only run what they have over and over again.

Now 9 Chickweed Lane is another story. Martine is awesome…and quite dangerous, Bill will have his hands full. I am jumping into Pibgorn today.

I think they’re whetting our curiosity so they can sell us books one of these days.(Look around, there are those that have files to share!)

Well, of all the Li’l Abner arcs to have, methinks this is a good one.

From yesterday: More Al Capp strips? Please! Though, in his later years, Abner wasn’t quite as good as in the past. I also heard a story that Abner was affected when Capp’s son died – possibly murdered..Something I wish we had was POGO! Another hillbilly talking strip, though set in a swamp, and quite possibly the model for Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes..While I like Piranha Club and Sherman’s Lagoon, I also like that they are in Comics Kingdom, rather than Go Comics. Go Comics advertising is above and beyond annoying..And don’t tell me about Ad Blocker. I fully understand that advertising is how Go Comics stays in business. I’m just saying that advertising ought not to be as annoying as they make it..And while we’re at it, why is it that (apparently) Go Comics doesn’t pay artists for their work? There’s a lot of begging going on on Endtown, and that just doesn’t seem right.
