The manufacturers didn’t think to add a hood?!

Lying in the street? She’s old enough to know better.

Where are the comments about Elly letting a 4 year old play outside by herself? I wouldn’t have done that, but then again, it looks like Lizzie had a blast!

I never knew a girl to do that, but my brothers did, and on the way to school! There was no calling mom to bring dry clothes in those days. They had to sit there cold and wet all day and never admitted they were miserable.

Please watch your language. There is no need for derogatory terms. :-)

The simple fact is, it is fun at that age to get wet in the rain. Just look at her smile in each situation.

If its a warm rain they can go out together in shorts and t-shirts. Mud squishes between toes, and it can all be fixed by a warm bath afterward.

I’ve never seen a downspout from roof line rain gutters that high off the ground. They are usually at ground level to protect from erosion.

When he asked if it was raining, Elly should have whipped her hair back and forth at him and told him it was just sprinkling a little.

Rule of thumb: If a child is going to get wet, dirty, messy, or whatever; the term: Where there’s a will, there’s a way; will forever play into the scenario.

It’s been pointed out that you are using a word offensive to others. You may be a bigot, or a bigot troll, but now would be a really good time to stop using it.

Do you all know that Mom is not watching her during all this? Maybe she just didn’t know HOW wet she was!

All kids need to get wet from Mother Nature, get dirty just having fun or actually working, and to truely enjoy nature. The whole world has existed with all of the above and we are still here!
