Pink and purple poodles… what is this, a tongue-twister?

Second strip today I read that has a poodle in it (uh poodles, plural). The other is Red and Rover.

I fear the URL that you posted is too long, unfortunately. I tried it, but nothing would post. Here are a couple of examples that I found:

(I’ve posted a lot of images of dyed poodles on other strips in the past, and still, it never ceases to amaze me what possesses people to do this!)

@*StelBel*, I think it is horrible to do that to a dog. If that is real dye, it is also harmful to their health. Those dog owners are idiots.++++++++++++++++++++I think Louie should ask the purple poodle out. She’s his kind of dog, she sees the real deal in Louie.

I understand that some ways to color animals are safe, but I can’t understand why they would do it. Those poor poodles! The funny thing is that poodles are one of the smartest dogs.

So it seems weird that people make them look stupid.

this poodle’s cuts are stupider looking than most. I hope the males wear some studlier cut.
