Gotta go to bed myself…..but….Bev….. before the turn you said to me….

“I just saw the pic of Munky getting showered off. You have a giant blowdryer somewhere don’t you?”

My goodness…. it took THREE washings… two in that portable tub, and then one in the shower, with my patented Monkey Wash and Glitter Remover…

(I don’t think he minds my telling you…monkeys aren’t big on privacy.)

    That was one soaked simian…

So of course I had to do a fluff-dry, and a comb-out.By the time Stel took that next picture you saw of him(in the chicken hat) he was looking mighty fluffy and clean.

But just to answer your question accurately…YES, I have a HUGE blow dryer….

but it wasn’t really necessary for drying one monkey, even a largish one like the Sheriff.

Which is a good thing, because you reminded me that I sent it to Massachusetts when you and Shika went to dig StelBel out….

and I haven’t seen it since!

    StelBel??? Look familiar?

…but they don’t have a whole lot of patience with all this cheerleading business…

Nice to see you StelBel! Did you like the dance last night? Bev looked smashing in her red and white dress and red boots.Susan and munkey danced up a storm, or else she was trying to get him to the shower. There did seem to be a trail of glitter in his wake.

G’night all! I want a nice soak in the bath tonight. My man called briefly but is planning to have a longer chat tomorrow. Just hearing his voice is very comforting. He was very busy working today- wish I could be there to help him relax, but the weather here is so lovely and He’d enjoy it so (and I know he’d like another balloon ride at dawn. We both enjoyed that. I just remembered the mimosas and muffins, tho’ but I can feed mine to him too. Neither is permissable for me. I might take along a thermos of tea and my almond flour crackers. I’d be fine with a hike in the desert but he likes th view from the balloon (as do I). Things are more fun with no restrictions. I hope the BP gets fixed in this year so I can drop the gluten and cheese restrictions at least; the alcohol is less of a bother. Much easier to fake a virgin drink than deal with fake foods. As to the tofu pepperoni, I have seasoned mushrooms to have a flavor of pepperoni (and that was not bad). I had hopes for this because the only non-cured stuff (no nitrates) was imported from CA (hardly any distance) but shipping $ were ridiculous.

Hey all … here I am…. briefly or not, I have no way of knowing yet.

    I apologise for more computer stuff… but….

Spent ages on the phone with technical support at Costco… (they call it, for some reason, “concierge” service)My computer is three years old and they’re still willing to help!

Anyway, we tried a few things…all they can tell me now is to run it and see what happens.

X, iMudd, anybody into hardware….he had me hold down the power button for a couple of minutes with the box UNplugged.

Said electricity could build up inside, and cause crashes. So I said “What does this do? Discharge the capacitors?”And he said yes.

I have never heard of that!Could it really be the problem???I sure hope so!Guess I’ll know by whether it crashes again….

I asked whether one needed to do that regularly…. and he said he recommends once a month….in 20 years and umpteen computers I’ve never done it.Anyone?
