The TV man inside wants out. You know he is the one who lives inside of TV and changes the channel when you SHOCK him with the remote.And he has had enough channel surfing.

…just out of curiosity, are you in your 80’s, living in Manitoba? I know somebody with that name…

We finally had to take my mom’s remote away from her. She’d either hit the “record” button on the “Mute”, decide the thing was broken and change the batteries. We even tried putting a washer over each button and wrapping the thing in electical tape, but she still manged to foul it up.

My Aunt Ginny had a early version of the remote for her Zenith TV..It made a click and whooosh sound..You could hear the relays clack for the rotary channel changer..I always thought it was air powered..I’ll have to google how it really worked..
