Fun, but none of it is accurate cherry blossom lore.The famed Washington DC cherry blossom trees were given the US by Japan in 1912.It only feels like 600 years ago.

I live right down the street from George’s place at Mount Vernon. Lucky me. See Real estate tax, Fairfax County, Virginia, Mount Vernon Area.
Oh well. I’ve only been here for forty years.
The tourists cant get enough of the place and walk in the middle of the street as I try to dodge them and their tour buses. I’ll get one one of these days.
In the meantime, George’s distillery is going great guns making overpriced booze for his fans. This is no joke. They fired up the still just a few years ago and sell out all that crap that they can make.
Come and see us in Northern Virginia. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright home and Woodlawn Plantation within a mile or so of Mount Vernon.
p.s. Please bring money. The roads are full of holes.
