Rover: Hey, it's snowing.
Red: Snow?? This time of year?!
Red: This isn't snow. It's tree pollen!
Rover: (Heh-heh) The human snow blower.
Red: It's not snow!
My tropical plants escaped the greenhouse here in the Houston area the Saturday before Easter. My two pecan trees are just now budding out; welcome spring to Texas Gulf coast. Summer will be here in a month. :-)
TexMichael: I thought flowering moved north. Here near the Red River, pecans have already bloomed and now trying to hide the car under brown catkins. Bluebonnets have just started blooming, no firewheels, paintbrushes, nor crimson clover yet.
