Mrs. Godfrey is so evil

Seems a bit too much like entrapment – even if NAte did say it.

And Nate is legally required to be there. It’s like prisoners hating the prison guards, especially the prisoners who haven’t committed a crime. Our school system: just plain sucky.

If she didn’t get the earliest part of his rant, which includes her name…….he could always say there’s a REAL fat old cow somewhere in his travels, who maybe gives him the “evil eye” or moos nasty or kicks dirt at him with her back hooves or something to give him a pretty good impression that said cow possibly hates him!! How much of the rant DID she record? Little enough for him to effect a “your word against mine” defense?…….any straw within his grasp could only help here! Chuckles! CHUCKLES!! AND Juicy Fruits!!

I’m on Godfrey’s side on this one. Tell Nate, “Let’s work out a deal. You apologize to me for calling me a fat cow, and I will forget this ever happened, start over with a clean slate. We got a deal?” Anything short of a sincere apology and Nate is dead meat.

If he said that as an adult to an adult he would be slapped or punched. If he said that to a person in authority, he would be put in jail. I think getting by with an apology would be perfect. No parents involved, no detention. Everyone wins.

What Nate said is not criticism. It was a personal attack on her. He needs to learn appropriate comments for in school, or where it is appropriate to say them. Mrs. Godfrey’s job as a teacher (which is not limited to her classroom subject) is to keep directing Nate on a proper path.

Nate is forever 11 and will forever need to learn his lessons be they school or life.

What it could be is that he might think it is hate when she is harder on him because she knows he can do so much better. Teachers will be harder on a student they care about because they want that child to succeed. Teachers aren’t supposed to have favourites, but they are human.

Ms.Godfrey is a stalker.

How did she know that he was talking about her? He never even said her name, the only thing Nate said was “The fat old cow!”. If she knew that he was talking about her, the even she knows that she is fat!
