There was a Congress critter that was recently trying to get pets recognized as dependents that we could write off. I dunno what happened to the idea, or the guy. But I do very much consider my friend to be a dependent and very much part of my family. Sheās the best! (no, Iāve never claimed her on anythingā¦ no worries)

May not be for the Feds, but it depends on the state where you live for a state refund that will cover the Feds.
