Yup, that’s the first problem with calling service reps, techs, etc. Each needs to understand what the other has just endured before they were connected, then take a breath to collect their sanity. It might prevent some of the ‘flying off the handles’ and ‘chewing off of each others’ heads.’
I always did wonder why they make you key it in to the machine, then tell the live person once you finally get to oneI think maybe telephones erase memories. Coz I would call somebody, get their secretary, who’d ask me who I was and I’d tell them, then when the person I was calling got on the line, they’d ask me who I was again.So I’m like, “DIDN’T YER FRIKKIN SECRETARY TELL YOU??”
