Do they have the influx of Spanish speakers in Britain? Like we do in the USA. I know about the middle-easterners. Spanish would be much easier than Arabic or Farsi or Turkish. At least the alphabet is about the same.
Andy has been clobbered this week. Does he get a break? And I know Susan and Bev will say he does not need or deserve a break. But I say cut the little feller some slack.

She would like to have heard that and would have been glad to talk about these people at Length. By her occasional mention, I am sure she was a Rat Pack follower since it comprised people whose material she patronized. Saw Sinatra at the now defunct Melody Fair in North Tonawanda. That was a big deal for her. I was amused by your exchanges with the old soldiers at Mutt & Jeff even though I rarely talked at that strip. I’m touched by your reaction to WW2Marine guy’s passing.Talked to Ron last week and it was good.My day is going okay, hope yours is too !
I love Frank Sinatra also… Your Mum was very lucky to have the opportunity to see him live.
I’m back on the meds now as of yesterday. They’re working.
I’m glad you were amused by the exchanges at Mutt & Jeff. I was too actually.
I liked talking there.
I always will miss WW2Marine even though I didn’t really know him that well.
.((((( Back ))))), Linda. .Andy, just rub your fingers to indicate money followed by hoisting arm in a drinking motion. That should work in any language where people drink for a living….. er.. that is.. drink for refreshment. Only Andy “drinks for a living”. If only it paid….. if only it paid...@Number Three

I am doing okay here. Snowing out and cold again. It was a nice day Monday and cooler and cloudy yesterday. This morning the misty overnight rain had turned into a wet snow. It’s so hard getting outside work done when I can only do it in dribbles.
That would be nice if the hospital who gave someone your “juice” asked that person if they wanted to meet their benefactor and if so contact you to let you know so that numbers can be exchanged. If not: tell them No More until they are willing to meet you halfway. One or two such meetings should be enough to show you what ever it is you wanted to see at the “end user” end of it. Glad to hear you’re all woman all the time !

I took Today’s Bloodhounds to mean that they thought he meant “take 5” for a smoke. At least that’s my familiarity with the phrase. We have that 5 servings of fruit/veggies a day line here too. Take 5 also means take a break from a task, etc. Even though you didn’t get Billy, your Adam Apple character could be credible in his own right.

Nah, I, for example, can order a beer in ten languages I sure Andy’d learn how to cage a drink in even more.

I’ll bet “Can you loan me a quid?” sounds pretty poetic in Tahitian.

Andy would excel at swearing in different languages and asking Flo for money.
Don’t encourage him, Flo!
