I do remember when a double was called a two bragger. Bases were sometimes called bags. Triple; three bagger.
Isn’t a “two bagger” when you make her wear a second bag in case the first breaks?
So….what is wrong with the reference to a ‘two bagger?’ I’m not THAT old!
I always remember announcer Raplh Kiner referring to a double as a two-bagger. I don’t understand the dilemma .
