And Nelson is always such a picky eater when he comes back from Grandpa’s. Hmm…

Tongue is niiiiceee! Still can get it here, smoked or salted.

Gosh! I haven’t had tongue in years! It was a regular in the dinner cycle when I was a kid. Which makes me wonder….what happens to all the beef tongues nowadays. Do they put it in cat food, or what?

@John PikeNow, what part of THAT did you see as mean? Not sharing the food from my plate? No doubt the ankle-biter has already had his meal? How about the part where you encourage youth to eat another meal between meals? That woul encourage good eating habits – NOT! Oh, do you mean the cow’s tongue. My m-in-l made the best tongue. Hubby and I had her recipe and occasionally we’d make it too. Yummy!

Tongue is best when it is still in her mouth – and wiggling against yours.
