When internet shopping was new.
You wondered it if was for you.
Ding-dong.
They said, "Be at ease, and you're saving trees!
And we'll throw in our catalog, too!"
they all come with an 800 number- it only takes a brief call to get off the lists and save a treeps when you order anew tell them not to put you on their snail mail list or for that matter junk mail list
There’s also the problem of all the excess cardboard used by Amazon. And I speak as a member of one of the households causing it— my wife orders a LOT of stuff from Amazon (even more during this pandemic), and I order some stuff also. We do recycle the cardboard— but, I have no idea how much really gets “recycled” vs ending up in county garbage incinerators…

Say – where is Gene and family? He did not even check in for Mother Day, I had to go backwards and check.

No he didn’t and I have to admit, when they were looking for mattresses before I read the comic I thought it was Gene’s father-in-law..

I remember when they said the computers were going to bring about the “paperless society.” It seems they only made bigger mailing list.

Order once from Land’s End or L.L. Bean and you’ll get all their various catalogs forever. sigh

If you don’t want any more mail from Amazon, just create a filter that sends everything from them to the trash as soon as it comes in. Problem solved.

@UncaJimI’m an Amazon Prime subscriber and buy from them regularly. All I get from them is the AmazonLocal email I signed up for.
