Transcript:
Satchel: I can't believe you're telling me I'm not tough! Have a look at yourself! Bucky: Hey, I may be gorgeous, but I'm tough! I'm like a 61 jaguar e-type! Satchel: What, broken down? No, you're like that little fuzzy thing. The uhh... Bucky: What?! Satchel: It's a fuzzy little fruity thing... Bucky: Fruity?! Are you kidding? I'm less fruity than a West Virginia school lunch! Satchel: Guaba!

I had to google it, too. Now we know where he’s been all this time. Looking up obscure things like this.

I had a friend with a BSA single dirt bike,441cc? Here in socal, in the desert, that bike could find water in the summer in Mohave. He walked that bike more than he rode it. How a country as wet and rainy as GB is could ever make and drive vehicles that leaked and had such electrical problems… I guess that is why VWs were so popular there in the 60s

The Jaguar E-Type was rated the most beautiful car of all time… I can see why…

Darby has a marvelous ear for conversation – this sounds like a typical argument/discussion between two children, informed and almost rational but not quite.

Guaba ? Guava ? I’m guessing guaba, or inga which has kind of cotton-ny flesh. Guavas aren’t furry at all, neither on the outside nor inside.

There are 2 differant things called Guaba. This strip probably refers to the plant, but there is also a harmless but scary looking large spider that is known to locals in Puerto Rico as Guaba.

a friend of mine owned a Jag in 1968. I can’t say the words he uses when I remind him about that car.

My mechanic was telling someone that was looking to get a Jaguar that he would need three of them. One to drive, and two for the shop.

Until the last pane i was thinking Kiwi fruit. Looks like little green hairy coconuts. Bucky looks kind of coconuttish (sic) too, I guess.

Kiwi fruit used to be known as Potato Fruit. After they changed the name, sales really took off. In survey polls, people greatly prefer dried plums over prunes, even though they are the same thing.
