Wait until Andy finds out what calamari really is. First time I had any was in Taipei, Taiwan. It wasnât good,IMO. It was tough and rubbery. The more I chewed the longer it lasted. I think they gave me rubber bands. What did I know, I was just a 19 yr old Marine trying to be cool.

No no; it was Ringo who longed to be an Octopus; Paul was a Walrus [according to The Onion Satire Paper] with little experience. George, however, was an adopted Krishacean; John himself was a Beetle found in a Quarry.
Chalkiejâs post of that hilarious Don Martin cartoon reminds me that Number Six âowesâ his fellow Cappers his Andy done in Don Martinâs style. (A little âhint hintâ to Number Six, lol.)

Well, the one on dialysis had a good Mothers day and I can pretty much figure that the other one is struggling. I wanted to email Uncle Bob but it wouldnât be âhappy Mothers dayâ. I couldnât think of what to say and so will wait for an update and explain myself then. Sunday was good and today I was outside a good deal weeding and mowing around the garden and house. I left more stuff around front than I usually do since I see that the rabbit likes it. He/she tolerates a close proximity, but not too close. Dropped a bunch of punched propane cans and did some shopping and got gas. I will be setting up the garden this week. . Number Six said, about 10 pints ago
The manageress of my local isnât too pleased with me. A pint of my usual is ÂŁ1.99 and I paid with 199 pennies!
Aah⊠the dark days before payday when couch cushions and pockets are turned up and out, respectively.. Nice kwik âdrawâ there, Mikey. .Your local needs one of those coin counter machines like they have at the bank, Six.. Chalkie j said, about 2 many repeats ago

@ Qwee-dough âPint-Timerâ MurraySo Coraâs whacks, ad nauseum repetition, and having Dinsdale Piranha nail yer Head to a Coffee Table aal only-hurt at-first, eh?

I wish I could say something other than âSorry to hear thatâ all the time but I donât know what else to say. You know that I wish them both the best of the best.
The rabbit sounds cute!
I hope your garden turns out nice in the end⊠With you doing it then it will.

That Don Martin replay looks like something I may have read the first time around. When did it come out ?.Not to fear, John. Youâve reached your state of âcoolâ without having to do stuntsâŠ. like me ! .I wonder if Chawkee has tried looking through a Green Onion ?  Pretty O-PAYKE stuff !.Maybe Linda can teach this non dancer some moves when we eventually meet ???
@ GweedoFor all my watching Dancing with the Stars, I dont do much fancy stuffâŠtwo stepping, (with a few neat spins and turns I learned over the years) waltzing, and rocking are my main staysâŠand yes, grannies can still shake their tail feathers even at 60!
frankly, I have enjoyed snails, and calamari but only in So. Calif. Do NOT try them inland, but then its your tummy that will have to endure itâŠso who am I to speak of its detrimentsâŠ.personally, I am going for a couple of days of Wall Eye fishingâŠMille Lacs is calling my nameâŠlater this weekâŠ
How is it, Gweedo, that when you reach a certain age, and high level of coolness, that your kids and grandkids just donât get it? Cool is cool, no matter how you shape it.
Gweedo, its almost time for blankies and goose down comforters, do you plan on hogging them or just waiting till I start snoring to flip them over yourself and drift off to warmy dreamland?âŠhmmph, best post those intentionsâŠor the snoresâŠ.lolâŠ..willl check to see if aught else needs your touch/posts in a bit, but bedtime is coming soonâŠits a lazy sunday and you know how they areâŠ

Well prepared calamari, or squid if you will, is not tough or rubbery. If it is, it is simply overcooked. Octopus is delicious too!
