I am very sorry for your loss.

I had the same thing happen to my beloved GSD almost three years ago.

I still miss my Ilsa dog every day.

We have a new and beautiful shepherd but it is not the same as before. We have lost a valuable member of the family, again.

I find it amazing that as soon as the vet gives her the shot, the light goes out in her eyes and she is gone. Ilsa was in pain and was 13 years old so even though it was best for her it is tough for me.

That is the thing about our beloved dogs. They just dont live long enough.

so sorry about your loss. Sometimes our dogs are with us as long as our children. I still greave a bit over several pets that I wished could live longer.time does make it hurt less.
