âStar Trek Into DarknessâŠZoe Saldana as UhuraâSaldana is Dominican & Puerto Rican, and pretty much of African descent.Ben Afflict & Mark Woeburg playing latinos is as silly as a Swede playing Charlie Chan. At least Johnny Dep doesnât have blue eyes. I have about as much Indian ancestry as Depp, but I look more like Johnny Rotten than Johnny Depp.

Isnât Zoe Saldana mixed? Her father is Domican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Not all Latinas are white.
As for John ChoâKorean or not, he was not a good choice.
