Doesn’t Jack serve food these days? (Not just chips but actual food? Seems like he hired a “chef” awhile back. (And Flo’s brocolli could well be as deadly as her fairy cakes!)
@Number SixI LOVED your Don Martin Andy Capp from yesterday! It’s truly amazing how you can get so much character into the character. Looking at your cartoon can put a swagger in my stride, a swing in my step, and (probably) hinges in my feet! If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to send it to a few friends.
Our Mountain Man from Colorado sent this while my head was filled with dreams and a Siamese hat on…why does Katrinka think my head is her bed???…Done late Saturday

Your links were perfect… Especially ‘The Near Future’ one.
The lyrics in the second link are pretty sweet and made me laugh.
I nearly always feel fine once I’ve given blood… Apart from the 3rd time where I felt very unwell until I had a good night’s sleep.
I agree with you on the Andy Capp comic. I’ve always been a big fan of Andy Capp even though you wouldn’t expect a person like me to enjoy it.
Your garden will be worth all the hard work in the end… Well I wouldn’t know but I’m sure others do.
I hope you’re doing well today.
Thanx !I test drive the whole post before sending the circuitous path to here. I like when regular songs get new words, like what Weird Al does.It is good that a long rest put you to rights. Always help “the man” with his enquiries. Never know when they might look aside at something that might actually demand their attention. I am pleased that girl folks like the louse Capp too. Shows a humor, even though real life Capps keep me at some distance. I can drag my own self down, thank you !
I found a watering tube with a little different design and some info from talking with sales people. I think this will work. I have the toms planted and staked the cages this afternoon. Good thing too ! Wind kicked up pretty hard for a spell and seems to have settled down now. Today (Sat) was productive. I cleaned up a bunch of loose ends left over from all the fixing and such. I did well. May your Sunday go according to best intents.
Morning or afternoon Cappers – depending where your feet are resting, at the moment. In answer to Linda Dean and Affie, no, I was unable to take my best buddy with me. I was afraid that , especially since I had no set place to go, and the plane flight would be to much for him at 9 1/2 yrs. old. It broke my heart but I managed to find him a good home and he seems happy. I confess I really miss him. Thanks Number Six for the Avatar Blow Up.
I like this one!Instead of smoke coming from Andy’s dinner… It would be a cool effect if there was smoke coming out of Flo’s ears as it would symbolise anger.I like broccoli but I don’t like cauliflower.xxx
Agreed. Andy Capp always keeps me in a good humour. I used to ask my Dad for the paper to read Andy Capp on the back. I still have the paperbacks which I’m going to hold on to.
I like your little ‘Devil’ emoticon. It’s cute!
I hope the watering tubes do work well in your garden.
Taking my last med tonight and it’s back on the ‘7 day break’ starting from tomorrow.
I’ve been feeling a lot better since I’ve been taking them.
My Sunday has been a nice one… Thank you! I hope yours has too.

methinks the only vegetables Andy consumes are potatoes (made into chips)

Evidently, Big cheese Andy prefers Onions [a noble Veggie] over Brocs: Enlarge; see skidmarks
