Why? Pasta has good fiber, and you can get whole wheat these days.

It is actually tofu/shirataki pasta. (Mostly shirataki with just a little tofu to improve texture) It has only 2 carbs and 20 calories per serving. If you are diabetic, it allows you to put pasta back into your diet. Tastes just like regular pasta. Get it at Asian markets. Rinse it well. It smells fishy from the liquid it is packed in.

If you have problems with milk, mashed tofu makes a good substitute for cottage cheese.

Shiritaki noodles. They taste okay, but they really aren’t all that suitable for spaghetti. Better in stir fry type dishes. The texture is different, too. Interesting choice for gluten (wheat) intolerant or trying low carb. I think some shiritaki noodles have zero carbs but contain some protein.
