What I am getting is contradictions. We made a decidedly wrong choice when my husband retired, and now it will cost a bundle we don’t have to put that right too.
It’s insane, and it’s inhumane. What it looks like here is the insurers have been given carte blanche to strip working and retired people of every possible cent, without giving them much of anything in return.
I’d just jump off a bridge and leave them to it, but sadly, I’m not hardwired that way. I will settle for the tiny amount of satisfaction I get from not giving them what they want.

Great grandmother 104, grandmother 99, Mom is now 100 almost 101, I have “male pattern baldness” inherited from the mom’s side, so hey, maybe?

My grandmother swore for many years that she did NOT want to live to triple digits. She passed away at 99 years, 4 months.
