Wow, the Pumpkin talk worked! Fancy that! Poor Lucy. She’s all crabby again.

Some people miss the point. I used to make fun of the way my mother-in-law gave directions. The center of her universe was the A&P market. So all instructions started with “You go to the A&P …” It did not matter that your desitination might be in the opposite direction.

I relayed this story to my mother and her comment was, “They have an A&P!”

The Great Pumpkin has found followers?! Wow. Good for Linus.

She’s lucky Charlie Brown told her what Linus wrote to him.

My dad sent me to camp w/ a stack of pre-addressed postal cards & a ballpoint pen that was out of ink.

Never saw that one. I guess Peter Griffin has one redeaming quality, but I can’t stand that show because of him.

Huh. So talking about the Great Pumpkin gets you elected camp president, but not class president (another instance where Linus speaks of the almighty pumpkin, and it backfires terribly)?

Linus is having a great time and Lucy is jealous!

The rest if the camp recognized Linus as being sincere.You really have to be sincere when talking about The Great Pumpkin.
