Lio once dealt with a roomful of comic “zombies” — characters who have continued in papers after their original cartoonists died. This is another story. Hey, maybe Lio can reanimate Pogo as well. (Or was he just playing possum all along?)
Still read Calvin & Hobbes daily in the International Herald Tribune, which will probably stop in October when its owner, the NYTimes (which doesn’t run comics) changes the IHT name to International New York Times.

Looks like Calvin when he and Hobbes first began in the 80s.

Start of a rerun week of June 2008 Lio strips, despite The May 27, 2013 Argyle Sweater strip showing a Lio appearance.

But re-runs aren’t re-runs if you’ve never seen them before. I’m looking forward to the “more” !

I miss Calvin and Hobbes and The Norm too.
Yea, they’re in reruns here, but I’d like their take on what’s happening today.
I wished they would both just do a new book every few years.

Calvin and Lio in cahoots … now THERE’S a scary thought.
Awesome for the comics, but for the rest of humankind? Not so much.

Lio is just below Calvin and Hobbes on my bookmarks list of daily funnies… and I often think they could be related.

They should have drafted Bill Watterson: “Sorry, for the good of the nation you’ve gotta go on drawing C&H…”
