He’s freakin out mannn. Wonder if this is going to lead to breakdown Wally or angry crazy Wally.

Now he could push our duck in the right direction with a little of his knowledge of his formal career . He needs to work with the fighters not aside them or alone. Trust you will come to your senses Aaron and steer him in the right way!!.

Endtown: no longer a gatored community.

The important thing for Wally is that he at least was able to make peace with Allie. Besides the sacrifice of the team that brought him to Endtown will find its resolution in the good that Wally, Holly, and the others that their lives touch will do.

I feel for Wally.

“The story would be boring if it were a run of the mill, everyone goes on an adventure, one may get sacrificed, and then they all pat each other on the back and go home.”-If I were doing stories like this, mine would bemore A-Team -like, in which there’s shootings, explosions, but both sides are just hurt, not killed. The good guys win, the bad guys lose, or if someone is killed, it’ll be like what happen when Pam discovers her husband Bobby alive in that shower scene from Dallas : It would be just a dream, a clone took their place or for many of you who read Joe Staton and Mike Curtis’ Dick Tracy, survived a firely explosion. That’s how I would do stories. Seriously, I find killings to be very, very distrubing.

Terrible thing survior guilt.

Wally might be about to spill his guts in a second…

This bummed me out, but LSOS yesterday was worse.

And so it goes… although this is not reality and just a story, this is a reflection of what happens. In real life, you can either be a player and take your share of risks or sit on the sidelines and watch. It is my belief that characters are alive through our imagination, beliefs and feelings. Now that the character has seen it’s final curtain in the story’s drama, You… the reader… can now with your beliefs forward that character through the afterlife in which you believe. For me, Allie has moved of to sit out the drama and observe from elsewhere. Well done, Mr. Neathery, well done.

Now you either get off the sidelines and into the game or go back and sit down.Its finally sinking in on Wally. So much was done for him and he showed little appreciation and much less interest to get involved. A normal reaction. He was thinking with his head not his heart.Holly got his heart. Allie just broke it.It’s “Teacher” all over again.Only this time he can’t run from it.

Mac,Josh is just that way.I don’t think he has ever been to the edge of life like you and me. We seen it, been knee deep in it, and came out of it. Took losses and continued on. No time to sweat the loss as the missions had to go on. Its later on when we are safe the losses began to sink in. I don’t know about you but that is when it began to sink in with me. In my old unit in Nam we had a ritual. Whenever we made it back Major would get us all together after debriefs. Pour each one a glass of the single malt scotch he had. He would have us toast “To the fallen and those that made it. We salute you.” We did that every time.Then we got back to the business of war.Time to get ready for the next mission.

What we may see is a reconstruction of Wally’s character. From the start, Wally has been unwilling to kill anyone. This was what (if memory serves) caused the deaths of the others in Allie’s foraging party. They were killed by TSers he spared. He wouldn’t kill Flask, even to save their lives (although it turned out that the gun was rigged). There have been good reasons shown for his viewpoint…but recent events are probably putting severe tests on his resolution towards non-violence.

Holly’s trial has become a trial for Wally. Now her conviction will test his convictions. How far will he go for her? Will he break his own moral rules, or remain steadfast on them, even at her peril?

You know,this kinda reminds me of a certain Tom Hanks war movie…where he and his platoon had to go Saving some Private. What was his name? Ryan?

In a moment of clarity, Wally realizes he has to stop feeling sorry for himself and do something, but what?-Tune in tomorrow, same cat time, same cat channel.

D: Allie!!!! Nooooo, Allie! She spent so much time topside (which probably contributed a great deal to her alcoholism) dodging bullets only to get hit by one in the town she foraged for. ;-;

Ah Sir, you and Doc Rat would make Pastis proud…

Back and safe.Big rain maker no tornadoes now.Weather moved off further north like Oklahoma needs any more grief.

I had that laser thing that fixed my cloudy eyeball. I do see lots better, but the floaters have gotten very active and I must have the other one done also. It was a bad week on several levels. But I have always had a tissue thin hide about some things.

I do feel more with animals, I’m a bit of a rat-whisperer. I have a friend that can communicate with crickets. When you are with some animals and really get to know them, they can communicate not only fear, but almost humorous things too.You know when you eat an Oreo, and eat the side with the frosting? I gave the plain side to my dog. He took it gently then lowered his head , laid down the cooky and looked at me. He knew I ate the best side.I did the same thing with a piece of an Oreo with one of my rats. He also put his plain piece down and then looked at me The Exact Same Way! like the dog did. It really cracked me up! So You can’t trick most animals.

Wally is starting to sound like something of a jinx.

One global reply to some of the above comments – Wally’s never forgotten about Holly’s situation. In fact, that’s what has been consuming him for the last 2 weeks. The problem is that after his aborted attempt to storm the security level, he’s been forced to wait and let everyone else try their approaches first. Now that those have failed too, Wally is left with two options – let the trial run its course and watch Holly also die, leaving him alone and rudderless again; or to do something. Unfortunately, that second choice is kinda vague, and things could go either way. Wally could lose his grip on reality and collapse in a quivering puddle, or he could regain the resourcefulness he had on the rocket mission. I’d like to vote for “resourceful Wally”, but it would help to have one of the free-play rayguns and his trusty backpack again.
