Such is the mind of a four-year-old. Go figure!

If you think she’s fussy now about her clothes etc., just wait till Lizzie hits those teenage years and all those that follow..first comes the ‘grunge stage’ and then comes the ‘mod miss era’ and then the ‘perfectionist stage’ and then the ‘whatever the mood determines’ senior years. Life gets to be so predictable!

It’s all about control.

Kids.

There’s just one word for a kid like that – “Enough!”

So why does she get a new fork, a new glass, a new piece of celery, etc? The juice on her jacket makes sense, the rest should just be ignored. Unless of course, Liz is right! Maybe the dishes didn’t get washed properly that day! But, dirty celery? I guess it didn’t get washed at all.

Woah, dude, chill out. This is not a reasonable situation to be calling someone a nimrod. They never said that they didn’t get it, they jut said that they agreed with a character. Calm down.

It’s true.

Easy. The grunge movement is a typical “lash out against conformity by conforming to our ways”. As such, clothes makers charge top dollar for the same kind of crummy clothes that can be found at a secondhand store. Conversely, most public school kids do not want to be associated with any decent clothes as that is “preppy”, so nice clothes like a blazer are in low demand. Good news for you if you need to look nice for a job interview; you can often find nice affordable clothes.
