@afficionadoDanielle is my former secretary (since we circulate our secretaries as part of their career development she no longer is). For years she and her husband wanted to get pregnant but things didn’t turn out so easy. But end of last year (after lots of hospital visits, let me not go into details) she told me she is expecting a baby boy in July. I am so happy for her.

Thankfully, he doesn’t drive.

I like the puns too, but just wanted to throw in a slam, like Rat always does in that last panel. Sounds like you got quite the pumper there !  Just don’t give up all yer juice; falling on the walk outside could make a big owie. Ron still hasn’t called and Ken is incognito. Aunt Eileen called today. she is still recovering from her fall on the pavement a week or so ago. Said she found bruises she didn’t know she had. No bones were broke and no hurt or stresses on her backside.

I goofed !  Alley’s friends hadn’t been ejected yet, just the bad guy teasing them by going for the button and veering off right before pressing it. Alley is back in the ship and slams Torka as he is going to press it for real. A donnybrook has broke out and T. is getting the worse for wear after getting a blow to alley’s groin. Hafta wait til tomorrow to see Larry tease us some more with this protracted action. I bin bizzy all day and then took Joe over to Lafayette to see Hippy Buckaroos earlier, 5-7 PM. Barb’s 85 year old mom and niece were there and a lady, who I presume is her sister. We got there a bit late as I had a late supper. .Today’s (Saturday) Capp*- – - – Okay.

Thank you for the ‘Alley Oop’ updates. The storyline sounds cool. I’m not a reader of the strip but I have come across it.It’s nice that Barb’s Mum and niece and sister showed up to watch her perform.

By the way… I had to look up ‘donnybrook’ and ‘incognito’ as

I’ve never heard of those words before.

Those are some really nice pics. I found out today that a couple of my facebook friends(who are a couple) just got back from a three week cruise. Already bugging them for pics.

Just what are they teaching at school these days ?!I can see not knowing “donnybrook”, but incognito ?/?…Anyway, you wont see this particular story if you go to the Alley Oop strip since he emails us the daily pieces… daily. Barbara Jo seemed to do her performance the same as always. I could see by looking at her and her clan that she is a standout character (black sheep?). She had a pink straw looking cowboy hat on for this one; different than her usual cowboy style hat. Bob did some good Dobro licks and Todd had both bass guitars on tap; a big ol’ bass fiddle and one that resembles an acoustic guitar. He needs a subwoofer. The low notes sounded muddy and overdriven. Paul, on lead acoustic and the over the neck harmonica was as good as ever.

It’s enough that Auntie is on dialysis and where food has become a more tricky proposition that she has to have that happen. She was a little vague explaining it, but she and her family were approaching the store and she didn’t get her foot up when approaching the concrete riser (curb?) and so on…. She said she wasn’t light headed or any of that, just wasn’t paying best attention.We’re all not bright in some area or another.Only the art museum in Buffalo, NY is “Albright” ! Sunday is good, hope yours is too. .Thanks for pcolli’s pics, Chalkster.

@ The Soul Qwee-dough “want da Phone Range” MurrayMy pleasure; nothing compare to what Granny’s doing [BTW IV for pain? wha-wha- what?!?]. Granny Wilda’s cur of a last Husband sentenced Himself to dialysis 3 dais/week and would STILL not give-up the Bottle. Died [not the result of a crash] Driving en-route to a session. Nice legacy.
