Tried contacting Att once by phone. Kept getting run around in circles. Then tried their website. Same thing there. Finally gave up. Their loss, not mine.
That happened to me once, though thankfully I was able to resolve it with a phone call, and didn’t have to wait that long. But here’s another irritant: instead of just asking for an email address to get a password reminder or to reset your password, instead they ask you for an account number, which you can’t remember and don’t have right at hand, and then you have to go digging for it. Even more annoying: when you have the option of entering an email address — and the system doesn’t recognize it.

SO been there. The same ID and password I’ve used forever! Then get on the phone so you can hear how important your call is to them for hours.
