If you're going to work here you need to dress in all black and we're a nose ring. Why? Because we're not in the lemonade business, were in the drink business. Meaning that our competition is all those trendy coffee shops. And you're not projecting the trendy coffee shop employee image. You're crazy. But you've got the surly attitude down pat!

the local coffee shop I go to is manned by very nice people, not a surly employee in the place.

The 2 times I’ve purchased coffee from a coffee shop, they looked at me funny when I asked if they had any regular coffee. They tried to push favors and other strange things at me. They were however, very nice about it.
