My dad tried making plum jelly that came out so thin it was actually a plum syrup. Delicious on waffles and pancakes. And maple syrup. TRUE maple syrup, is a wonderful think. Pancake syrup is below plain jane.

Pig is probably used to using the corn syrup based pancake syrup which is why he likes it. Pigs really dig corn. Even if it’s as high fructose corn syrup. He’d be confused if he was offered maple syrup.
