Rabbit: Boy, theres a solution to every problem isn't there? ...you shake the lettuce , it doesn't always clean off... But these battery operated fans get in there and blow all the bad stuff out! CC: did the red pepper flakes keep the rabbits away from your lettuce charley? Charley: no, they did not sir... no they did not.

Next time, try tabasco sauce + electric fences around the growing pots. :DLate Evening Folks (6pm local time).Had one helluva a day today, Got more accomplished in the blistering 108F humidity … got money from the bank. Got a form from school Paid for Standard First Aid + CPR, 2 Police Background Checks, went and picked up my RX from the Pharmacy, and bought a new beard/nose/ear trimmer, and all that in a 4 hour period in 108F temps. I lost 2-3 pounds today, just from sweat. Seriously, my shirt I wore, had more water in it, than my water bottle when I got home! LoL

Cured both bugs & rabbits with this: Took the hottest peppers I could buy, boiled them till they were just a mush and poured the water (after cooling) into a sprayer. Sprayed the plants with the water, the capsicum is not harmed by the heat, but the plants were inedible until washed…

He does not every get any of it so why keep growing it? By this time I would have just thrown the whole mess over board and gave up.
