I preferred the more mainstream rock in the 80’s: Heart, Mellencamp, Seger, Springsteen to name a few.

Back in the 80’s I was in love with this man who I met in 76 (right after my divorce) and did not play much music except the songs he gave me . . . and now we’re back together (but apart over 300 miles. Our teenagers (who played all that music in the 80s) are now in their 40s and 50s – and the beat goes on.

If they’re singing sure…..if they’re pulling me over for a speeding ticket…..no so much. :)

I generally like them, but the songs that have lines that repeat over and over and over (sending out an S.O.S., sending out an S.O.S.sending out an S.O.S., sending out an S.O.S., sending out an S.O.S., sending out an S.O.S……) is a good example, I CAN NOT STAND.

I liked them, but there are a lot of other bands that I liked better.

Police (group or department) won’t help much. Once you put it out in the garbage, it’s fair game.

On the other hand, stuff you put in the recycle bin belongs to the city the moment you place it on the curb. Taking stuff from there is a crime.

No one mentions Canary in a Coal Mine or Di Doo Doo Doo or Walking in Your Footsteps or King of Pain? And without King of Pain there’d be no Weird Al’s King of Suede.

There’s a sale on our gabardine suits today. It’s the same old sale as yesterday.
