She’s not been de-clawed. She shows her claws a lot in this strip. This was just a really durable beach ball. For the cat haters…why do you bother reading this particular strip when you know this family has a mischievous cat that they adore?

No, Peekaboo has her claws. There have been strips in the past where she’s shown them to great effect. Also, we’ve seen her get soaked and it doesn’t seem to change her cat behavior!

One of my favorites was when she caught a water balloon — she was soaked, and the final caption was “Catching a bird in flight is nothing like I expected.”

I’d like to know how the bird stayed on the top of that ball. Cartoon physics, I suppose…

Susie, if you don’t like the kitten, just stay away and let the rest of us enjoy her antics.
