i remember playing on that when i was a kid.that was fun!

You can be young at heart but you can also be too big for the rope designed to carry the weight of a 12-year-old (CRASH!)

and another thing … age may only be a number, but that don’t ease the aches and pains in the joints …

I don’t want to grow up, I am tire swing Kid. The body may grow old, but as long as you still have the imagination and playfulness of a child, you’ll never grow too old.

I love going around with the kids on Halloween in my witch’s hat with orange-feather trim. However, last Halloween, I kept up with them while they were trick or treating, and soon one of my knees went on strike and I had to walk bent-legged for awhile.

Love Meemaw. She’s a wonderful mother and grandmother. Is she Clem’s grandmother too? We never get to see her interact with him at all. If Clem’s mother is Rose’s sister, I wonder how they got to be so opposite being raised by this wonderful woman.

Rose is ‘tired’, so it must be Jimbo’s turn!

My kids enjoyed the tire swing I put up.The wife was watching Daryn go back and forth on it, back and forth, back and forth, -——- oops! rope broke and he landed in the garden!Then Daryn (today a ME) thought he’d add a pulley and make it a tire swing & elevator, Worked great until the pulley broke loose and hit Chris on the head, requiring a trip the ER for stitches!They had so much fun on that tire swing!!(Chris is today a teacher and Jennifer an RN – they all survived)
