Do you really remember living before TV? Sort of. I mean people had televisions and we finally got one, but we spent a lot of time at my grandparents without a television. What did you do? Oh, y'know... Told stories, passed along news and gossip, played board games... Card games, and the kids played kick the can or cowboys and Indians. Some hotter nights, we all sat on the porch and played music and sang. That's how I learned harmonica. I guess that was pretty cool. It sure seems so now, but I recall a lot of complaining.

I remember the first color TVs. Too much green or too much pink. I didn’t like it until they perfected it some.

When I was a kid: black and white TV on a round screen. Te screen was only about 8 or 10 inches and we had to get up and walk across the room to change channels. We had three channels, but only one TV.
