That wouldn’t have been for the new special ‘NSA look out Fourth Amendment up-date’ would it?

This also adds a different perspective on the phrase, ‘Men In Black’.

If you see something trying to add the “AVG Safe Search toolbar,” just say no. AVG is supposed to be a decent free anti-virus program but their “Safe Search Toolbar” is unkillable. It will re-install itself no matter what you do, which makes me reluctant to use anything by AVG. That’s the behavior of a Virus or Trojan, not an Anti-Virus product.

I always wanted to spend 400 bucks on a software package, then during installation click “I don’t agree”.

I tried reading one once and forgot what it was about by the time I got 1/4 the way through. Something about a first-born in the 70th paragraph. And WHY should I have that damn toolbar, anyway??

I was thinking the same—except the Reaper should be wearing a blue robe in that case. . . .

“But my windows don’t use a computer; the house was built in 1926, before computes were even invented and the windows use putty to hold the glass in and I can’t find galzing putty OR glaier’s points at Home Depot so I have to go to a local old-tyme hardware store that still sells those things but they moved all the way across the city and they charge a lot for that kind of putty now but I have to pay because the windows will fall out without being reputtied wvery few years, though on the bright side I’ve learned to putty windows really well so would you like to hire me to putty YOUR windows since you work at such a low-paying jo b that you probably can’t afford a house either that uses modern computer-wonctrolled win- hello? Hello?? Oh, good, he’s gone. Now I can get back to using my Mac.

The question is why would you actually want an AVG product in any case?.There is little evidence that they do anything that the free MSSE does not, with some argument that M$ should know their OS better than anyone else (and of course argument that they actually don’t) and be in a better position to manage it.
